Siding Spring Observatory

This is Australia's premier optical astronomy facility, with a number of large telescopes up to and including the Anglo-Australian 3.9-meter telescope. It also features the "World's largest virtual solar system drive" along highways approaching the observatory, with the sun at the observatory!

The observatory is located at latitude 31° 16' S, longitude 149° 4' E, elevation 3,750 feet.
